I was excited to for my daughter and I to spend an afternoon crafting and making soap with the try the Museluxe Soap Making Kit, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. While the kit includes a variety of materials for making soap, there were several issues that affected my experience. The essential oils were not sealed properly, causing some of them to leak during shipping. This resulted in a mess and wasted product, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the measuring cup included in the kit was broken upon arrival, making it difficult to accurately measure ingredients.Despite these issues, the kit does have potential, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. However, the quality control needs improvement to ensure that all components arrive in good condition. I hope Museluxe addresses these issues, as the kit could be a great product with a few adjustments.

Nice little soap making kit. I'd say it's mostly for kids than adults.

I got this because I was hosting a family reunion at my home, and there were going to be a bunch of kids under 10 here. Since I wanted to be prepared for anything, I got activities for them that could be done indoors and out. Luckily I was ready for indoor activities, because the weather outside was less than sunny. I ended up getting a few more silicon molds from another craft store, but this kept the kiddo's pretty occupied (I had other options such as drawing, puzzles, science experiment kits, etc. While I did have a gaming thing set-up and there was TV with Netflix, the kids surprisingly liked the hands-on things where they could create stuff). Their parents appreciated not having to entertain their kids the whole time, and they had a little keepsake from the reunion.I would recommend this kit, those who used it had a lot of fun and from I'm told they're still talking about that day!

I did experimentation with this set and here are my results for you because I know you want to SEE how they actually work!In the first photo, the bottom 2 soaps are done with the shea butter soap. It melted well and as you can see by the photo, the release from the molds is perfection - no need to clean out afterward. In those 2 bottom soaps, you can see a bit of the dried flowers. I actually used quite a lot of these dried flowers and I added them into the mold before pouring. However, most of them floated to the top of the mold so that here you can barely see them. Therefore, I would suggest that you use the transparent base instead with the rose petals, and/or other dried flowers so that you can see them better (if you want to see them more). The third photo shows how BEAUTIFULLY transparent the other soap included is! These are just the rose petals laid into the top layer of the mold. FYI next time I use the rose mold, I will lay the rose petals at the bottom of the mold instead. Then, I will pour the wax over them filling it 3/4 the way up. I will finish by adding the shea butter soap with pink or red colorant. The result will look more like a real, natural rose!😍 And the rose fragrance worked very well here as well as the other fragrances and dyes I must say.💕The second photo is just for beginners. The way to loosen soap from a mold is to peel it off from every side first. After that, from one side, lift the soap up entirely from one side. This makes it so that you see all details on the soap, the mold is then clean, and it preserves your mold so that it is like new and doesn’t get stretched out for the next times that you use it.The 4th photo is combining the Shea butter soap in the center heart, with the transparent soap in the red. To do that, I used a little heart ice mold, filled it with the Shea butter soap with a few drops of colorant, put it in the FREEZER for 10 minutes to dry/harden😍 which worked perfectly! I placed the soap heart in the bottom of a mold and poured my transparent soap (added red dye from this set) Around the heart (not on the heart directly) so that it wouldn’t melt my heart.😂What I learned afterwards is that the way to make your transparent soaps look more transparent, after pouring the soap into the mold, place them directly in the freezer for 15 - 30 minutes! Not only does it harden the soap more quickly so that you and excited kids can de-mold more quickly💕 but it also increases transparency. Just make sure to remove the soap for the freezer before it freezes because if it does freeze, it will then look cloudy! Ah life and learning!I hope that some part of this review helped you and wishing you much joy and success in this endeavor!😍

Kit looks as advertised but the pitcher is completely smashed apart and unusable. The scents are horrible. The molds and soap look usable so I'm going to give it a try. They need rethink their packing because the heavy soap in the pitcher smashed it.

This was a fun soap making kit to use. The soaps turned out very nice and you have quite a few different options for everything. It was really easy to use as well.Overall, I am happy with it and would recommend it to others. It would also make a great gift as well.
