Very easy to install came with tool. Very durable. Helped lot with balance. Rides great with multiple sizes of bikes . If there was one thing I don't like is the wheels are loud and very hard

We got these for our child's bike, and as noted in several other reviews, if some of your frame/support arms are not round, you will definitely have some challenges installing these. The first time i installed them, I tried with what i thought was a reasonable amount of force to torque these in place, but as my kid was riding the wheel slowly but surely rotated to the point where it was barely in contact with the ground. I was able to bend some of the tongs on the arms that attach to the frame a bit, but I ended up having to overtighten the bolts to make them stay in place, which resulted in bending the training wheel metal and made the angle to get to the ground a little funky.Because of the bending, it's tough to get them both to be 100% in contact with the ground at the same time, which isn't ideal, but they still get the job done. Obviously not a permanent solution, and hoping we grow out of needing them soon.I paid a little more for these than some of the other generic options that were available, hoping they'd be more stable but unfortunately doesn't seem to be the case.

Measure two things on your bike before buying these training wheels to make sure they're going to fit.First, as "C Tam" noted, you're going to need about an inch of exposed thread when you take the mounting nuts of your rear wheel. On each side of your bike, you're going to need to mount both a horizontal and vertical bracket. These two brackets together measure about 1/2 inch in thickness; and you're going to want about a half an inch of thread left over to tighten the nut securely to the bolt.Second (and this is what bit me), the horizontal bracket (which is necessary to keep the vertical bracket vertical) has a semi-circular mouth that's supposed to fit over the frame of your bike, holding it in place. This semi-circular mouth is only 3/4 inch across and on my girl's Schwinn the framing was sort of oval in shape and was about 1 inch in diameter (measured vertically). The bracket wouldn't fit over the framing, making these training wheels useless. So take a look at the metal pipe-like framing on your bike that runs horizontally from the rear axle towards the pedals. Get a ruler and measure the diameter of this pipe. If the pipe is oval shaped instead of round, make the measurement vertically. If the diameter of this framing is more than 3/4", these training wheels won't work for you. Really, they won't. I'm not lying. If the framing is tapered so that it gets bigger the further you get away from the rear axle, you'll want to make your measurement about 4 inches from the rear axle -- that's how long the horizontal bracket is.We went to our local bike shop and found some training wheels specialized for fat frames. They worked great. They also had a wider wheel base than these; and were made of much heavier metal. So even if these training wheels do fit your bike, I wouldn't recommend them. You can do better.
