works great. I would give 5 stars if the hardware was a bit bigger. these modern designers forget that some men have bigger hands and fingers than a ten-year-old boy, I'm not a surgeon, get some bigger bolts and screws so we can work with them or at least send twenty extra so we can finish the project!!!!

This latch is heavy duty and good quality, especially for the price. Used it for a hatch on a truck bed storage project I was working on. Worked well for my application. The provided hardware was a little soft and I ended up breaking one of the machine screws (probably my fault). The latch itself feels strong and secure.

Seem to be made with quality stainless steel easy to install had to trim a little of the fiberglass as the shaft was a little shorter than the original. Actually look better than the original latch.
