OEM quality made in Japan except Release Bearing made in China. I junked that a got an OEM Release Bearing from local Mazda dealer. Original clutch lasted 200,000 miles and this one should also. The pedal is light, the way it is supposed to be.Double check your Clutch Lever and Pivot. Mine was very worn and probably causing the stiff pedal. Mazda has new design and it's only $30 from the dealer.

Yes the reviews of everyone saying its softer than OEM is true, but its still a good clutch and does the job very well. No complaints here, just takes some getting used to. Having driven all kinds of MT cars and getting a feel for different clutches, this one is solid.

It installed flawlessly on my 2010 Mazda 3 2.0L hatchback. However the pressure plate is super light compared to the original clutch that was in it. The pedal press is very smooth and linear. Overall very happy happy with my purchase

Good clutch. Fit perfectly on my manual 06 Mazda 3. Great price, and easy install. Other parts stores were trying to charge $290+ for this same clutch. As others have said, it has a much lighter feel than the OEM clutch, but you get used to it after a couple of days with it. Its been 6 months since I had it installed, and it has not given me any problems. Mechanic said installation was a breeze. It only gets 4 stars due to the lightness of the clutch in comparison to the OEM part. I really liked the feel of the original, but this is a solid part.

Good little clutch replacement kit, its been in the car for about 25K now and its running like a champ. Note that the pressure plate is a lighter than the OEM clutch so it'll take a minute to get use to this one, more of a Euro style clutch, but its a good one!

Bought this for a 2009 Mazda3 2.0 i sport model. It is a complete kit & comes with cute Exedy stickers but the pressure plate on this thing is RIDICULOUSLY LIGHT!! Upon installing this thing you really need to adjust your driving habits to get used to starting out in 1st gear. Starting out on hills is nearly impossible without stalling due to its light engagement, you have literally no feel whatsoever when it engages. If you light light-engagement in your clutch then this is the clutch for you! If you want any iota of feel in your clutch pedal & when your clutch is actually engaging...STAY AWAY.I unfortunately can't recommend this clutch. Sure it is cheap but it is quite different from the OEM clutch and should not be labeled as "OEM Replacement". More like "OEM Downgrade".

My original clutch started slipping badly at 60K miles on my '06 Mazda3 2.3, My mechanic said this was a breeze to install and it had everything they needed. Install and resurfacing the flywheel cost about $600 in labor. The new clutch is smooth and responsive. I actually prefer the feel over the original.
