Exactly what I wanted. Thick -heavy rubber. Ties are merely there to show you where to put the real ones. I’m 5’8” and apron goes from high chest to 6” above floor. Covers boot tops nicely. Water does NOT soak thru this thing. Washes up with soap and water. Ordering another to have on hand.

Definitely keeps you cleaner during chicken/turkey processing. The material is super durable. The only thing bad is the straps that go around your neck. They can be super uncomfortable.

I am a butcher for a grocery chain store. During the 2020 pandemic, we have not been able to get in the paper disposable aprons. I guess because of the toilet paper shortage. I became tired of the blood bleeding through my butchers coat and staining my clothes. So I bought this apron. Specifically this apron because it’s rubber and not fabric on one side. So I can fully submerge or hose it off at the end of the day to sanitize it properly.Out of the package it had a “chalky” look to it, you can also see that on the photos from amazon. Not a problem, I used some mineral oil on both sides to give it a “sleek” look. And it makes it easier to clean.The only downside is the ties that come with it. The neck tie is super long, and the 2 side ties were too short. So I used a pair of shoelaces for the side ties.It’s holding up really well. The length is very long so it protects really well. And it’s nice and wide too. My co workers want me to order them one too!

I am a nose to tail butcher and I wear this apron when slaughtering. My wife should really be writing this review since she enjoys the advantages of less gore in her washing machine. The apron keeps the blood and other animal bi-products away from my clothing which is its purpose. It is easy to wash off after use and stays pliable and easy to use even when left outside in the elements, which is where it belongs unless you like sleeping in the doghouse with it. Say for example you bring it inside and drop it on the floor once, you will likely never do that again, should you choose life. Great product. Works as described and lasts under adverse conditions.

As a meat cutter, I needed a long, wrap around, real rubber apron for work. I've used shorter, nylon and cheaper rubber coated aprons when on the cutting block and walked away with blood covered shirts, pants, sides and knees. I love this apron. Works exactly as I hoped it would. Beware : I ordered the black one, and it looks more like a black apron that someone sprinkled grey powder over;not the shiny black I had expected. Other than that, it's the best. Will order it again.

Nice quality but the tie straps are junk! I ended up going out and buying leather straps and putt No them on myself! Other than that nice apron!
