Labradorite 1 Pound
Labradorite is a relative latecomer to the crystal community, having not been discovered until the 19th century. It is named after the region in Canada where it was first found, although large deposits have since been discovered in Norway. This normally drab colored rock is prized for its iridescence. When the light strikes a piece of labradorite just right, it will flash a brilliant array of blues, greens, oranges, and yellows.
This lot of Rough Labradorite comes in a velvet bag. These bags are very handy with keeping your stones together for storage or transport. The velvet gives it an extra layer of protection from damage.

These stones came in a larger felt bag. That bag was in a larger plastic resealable bag. I would have liked it better if the stones were in the plastic bag inside the felt bag instead because there is a lot of rock dust that comes out when you dump the stones out that is now trapped in the felt bag as well. Some of the stones are shaped in a way that I'm not sure they are going to tumble well. If you are just looking for some raw stones these should work fine.

These Natural Rough Labradorite Stones I received are high-quality and look great! While they are in their natural, unpolished state, you can still catch flashes of the signature labradorescence when the light hits just right. The stones come in a nice velvet bag, which is a great touch for storage and protection.

Waste of time sanding these down. Even after being polished they have little to no shine. I’ve been working with labradorite for some time now, and this was the first and last time I will order from this supplier.I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 star because this maybe a good choice for a young rock lover with a small tumbler.
