It works, but the concept is flawed. Any movement of your arm or upper body while holding your phone and it'll shake and wobble. I'm sure it would be fine if watching something on your phone, but if you're recording, the video will be very shaky.

This is a well made product but the use case will determine its effectiveness. The overall look of the product screams screen addiction and might not be the look you are going for in public. That means I personally will never use this when out and about. The phone holder is sturdy and I trust my device on the clamp however it sits very close to the face. A but too close to make watching anything comfortable. Not forgetting the eye strain. The neck part just sits around the collar which means that with movements the phone can wobble - making recording or watching anything much harder.POV videos are the best use case for this and works perfectly if recording in a static position. Face time will also be great if you are walking around and need your hands - as long as you can position the phone that it doesn't look up your nostrils!

A neck phone holder is an alternative to watching content on your mobile device without having to hold it in your hands and causing pain on long term. This product is well made with strong materials and flexible collar. The holding mechanism for the neck holder seems resistant, although I would not use it for sports in general as there will be risks of this coming off.In terms of viewing distance, it will not suit everyone. It does sit quite close to your eyes at about15-20 cm. For recording POV-like videos it can be useful depending on the size of the device as it may obstruct your visibility depending on what you are doing. The phone holding jaws are strong and will keep almost any modern mobile device. A nice feature of this is that the phone holding jaws can be removed and an action camera can be attached instead as they have the same mounting type with the screw. This neck mount for mobile devices is a dynamic product that has some good use cases although with some limitations that will need to be considered.

Right, so, we're here in what was once a perfectly ordinary neck, and we're about to witness a rather radical transformation. You see, our intrepid homeowner, let's call him... Nigel, has decided to embrace the digital age, hands-free.Now, Nigel, like many modern individuals, felt constrained by the tyranny of the held phone. The shaky footage, the aching wrists, the sheer inconvenience of it all. He yearned for liberation, for a seamless blend of technology and anatomy. And so, he stumbled upon this. The "Wafting Anti-Shake Strap for Cell Phone." A name that, frankly, sounds like something a wizard would use to levitate his teacup. But, in essence, it's a neck-mounted phone holder. And Nigel, in his boundless enthusiasm, sees it as a stroke of genius. Now, the design is... well, let's call it "functional." A grey, padded loop, a sort of minimalist neck brace, if you will. It's crafted from what I believe is a high-density foam, offering a degree of comfort, though I suspect prolonged wear might lead to a rather warm neck. The phone holder itself is a marvel of articulated plastic. It swivels, it tilts, it extends, offering a surprising range of adjustability. Nigel envisions himself capturing smooth, professional-grade footage while strolling through his garden, or perhaps, live-streaming his culinary adventures. The reality, of course, might be somewhat different. The real challenge here is the aesthetic. Can this contraption be integrated into Nigel's lifestyle without making him look like a cyborg extra from a low-budget sci-fi film? That's the million-pound question. He's talking about "seamless integration," "ergonomic design," and "hands-free liberation." I'm seeing a slightly awkward, slightly wobbly phone dangling from his neck. The initial tests are... interesting. Nigel's attempting a "walk and talk," showcasing his prized begonias. The footage is surprisingly stable, but the constant bobbing of the phone is rather distracting. And the look on his neighbour's face? Priceless. This project, like many on Grand Designs, is a testament to the boundless ambition of the homeowner. Whether it's a triumph of innovation or a cautionary tale of over-engineering remains to be seen. But one thing's for sure: Nigel's neck will never be the same again.

This product is sturdy and not gonna fall apart. It is great for making pov videos, and is amazing all around. If you use the provided strap, that straps it to you, it won't move around at all while you are making your videos !!

Thought this would be ideal for business use for “how do videos”. Well, it sort of worked but it’s not quite stable enough and the larger the phone the more it gets in the way. There is a chest strap, but it doesn’t make it very convenient to use or take it on or off. It’s such a shame the listing is peppered with photoshopped picture demonstrating use with movement because we found it doesn’t quite work like that – not sure I would want to mount an expensive mobile phone then ride a mountain bike or motorbike with it just sitting there on a neck mount? For watching on a phone it’s very close – perhaps a bit to close to focus on the phone properly and without difficulty? Without the extension the phone is only 15cm from your eyes with the extension 22cms. Those that wear glasses may have great difficulty? The neck strap is released by pressing a button on the main mounting, so you don’t have to lift it over your head, so it is easy to remove. On balance we thought this item was very “marmite” you’ll either love it or hate it. It does appear to be advertised on the listing for more than it can really do and for £25 it seem expensive for what it can’t do. Unfortunately, the best we could offer is a 3 as it’s not all it seems.

I figure it out without instructions lol that says how easy it is to use. It does the job well. Very sturdy. Just make sure you secure your phone very well every time as it can get loose with use. I have a Google 8 phone. It holds well.

If you have a bigger bust, this will not work well for you. Your body will raise it too much to not be able to see what you’re doing, and any movement has extra bounce that translates to the video. I returned this product.

I use this to stream my hands painting. It is flexible and straight forward to use. However it does wobble if you walk around with it so not a super stable platform for all video media. But it won't be bouncing around either. The crane neck for the phone is kind of not easy to move around. A good little experiment if you wanted to record but keep your hands free. Good money value. It is functional for hobbies but not for professional grade cameras.I do like the chest squishy pad.
