Great boxes for larger cakes, a bit taller to accommodate toppings as pictured. Strong, easy to fold, professional looking but also great for family/friends events. Clear window is large , well attached, and crystal clear.

The overall aesthetic of these Cake Boxes is really quite sweet. The lid has a nice window with a scalloped frame and the set comes with plenty of twine, tags and stickers for extra presentation. I wish I could give them a better rating but the construction is less than sturdy. It's just the way the box is designed to come together. If you look at the seller's instructions online (which are the only ones you will receive as none come with the set), a smoothly shaped fin slides into a slot to presumably lock in place except that they don't lock in any way. They just slide in and then back out just as easily. This design also allows these loosely attached side to bow in easily so you have to be very careful to only move the box by the bottom. The lid does add some stability, but overall, these just aren't quite as sturdy as I would like.

I have used these boxes a few times now with my larger layer cakes when I needed to deliver them. The bottom of the box is the only thing that needs some assembly, and it goes together quickly and easily. I will say, and this is just me for added security, that I would recommend taping the sides once you have the cake in a box assembled around it. That way, the sides will for sure not slip, and the box will come open when traveling with the cakes. The top does take a little wiggling to get it onto the box, but it fits nicely once you get it into place. I didn't have any issues with the sides touching my cakes or collapsing in on my cakes because the boards I had the cakes on had the sides straight.

This is super easy to put together. I like that the top is separate so you could put a taller cake in with no top if you wanted to. Also I like that the top doesn't have to be put together, it just folds out, some other cake boxes have the tabs that have to be inserted on the sides and the top. The top slid onto the base easily and made a sturdy box when all of it is put together. The cardboard is about a medium thickness, it isn't flimsy but isn't heavy duty either. It worked fine for me on sturdiness. I like the window with the scalloped design, making for a pretty presentation. It came with lots of string, tags and stickers to help decorate the outside of the box and make it your own. I really appreciate this extra touch. The price was very fair for a large, not common, size and 4 boxes.
