Unlike the old hot pens, this one has a newly upgraded design of the one touch on/off switch, which can be pressed for heating.

Steps to Use:
- Preparation - Use the spatula to clean the damaged section and remove all the loose pieces Remove any burrs from the damaged section.
- Selecting Colours - Select the appropriate colours from the colour palette, You may need to combine several colours in order to get as close to the oriclinal colour as possible.
- Melting and Filling - Melt small portions of wax Gradually fill the damaged section with melted wax until it is elighlly over filled.
- Removal - Allow the wax to cool off for 5-7 seconds After it has cooled off, carefully apply a small amount of pressure with the plane to remove the exceess.
- Finishing - Use the sanding sponge to remove any excess wax. Use the High-density Sponge polish the surface of the damaged section so that it matches the rest of the surface.
- Cleaning - Heat the wax melter. Remove any residual wax from the tip of the melter. Use the spatual to remove any residual wax from the grooves of the plane.

USE CAUTION:
- When the electric pen in use, the front end of the metal heating part of the temperature is high, please do not contact during use to prevent burns!

The Farady Floor Furniture Repair Kit with 11 colors and tools is a comprehensive solution for fixing scratches and imperfections. It includes everything you need to tackle repairs, but there is a learning curve. While the multiple wax colors offer flexibility, achieving a perfect match, even with mixing, can be tricky. This might result in a slightly noticeable repair, though still an improvement over the original damage.

The furniture repair kit comes with 11 repair wax blocks in various colors. Using the heat pen is tricky and requires some practices so I would start with a cheap furniture or a corner of the wood floor. It is not easy to get the color to match exactly but my wood dresser has natural wood patterns which makes the fix not very obvious. The video is somewhat helpful and there are YouTube tutorial videos as well.
