Don't use this on lighter suede, it will STAIN it! I got this to clean a light colored suede jacket and it ruined it, turning it blue where I used this brush. No doubt it's the brush that has damaged the color, as I then rubbed the brush onto a white towel and that was stained too. Whatever you do, use this on dark suede only or risk making your item look dirtier. Terrible, I am so disappointed. I should have listened to the other reviewer who had the same experience.

Great solid brush to use on any suede products. I use it to clean my premiere designer goods and it works marvelously!

It worked well as a nap brush, however, on my grey suede it left dark marks after brushing. Luckily i was able to use some jason markk to save the shoes, but take this as a warning. I have no problem with dark brown and black shoes however.

Not sure about this product. When used to brush my white bucks, the brass bristles leave a grey smudge on the buckskin. I would not recommend it for that application. Might be okay for darker suede shoes.

Suede is wonderful for smart casual shoes, but it doesn't take long for them to acquire enough scuffs to drop them from 'smart casual' to 'only casual' use. Since I don't possess the inherent stylishness required to elevate my accessories above their station simply by wearing them, I try to keep them looking sharp in the hope that they'll return the favor. This combination nylon and brass bristle brush is simple, well-made, and very effective. I keep it next to my shoe rack, and with 30s of work on each shoe, it keeps my suede looking good as new every time I wear them.

I have several pairs of suede and nubuck shoes and have tried a variety of brushes to clean and refresh the leather surface to keep them looking good. This brush is by far the best I have tried as it's combination of stiff horse hair bristles with fine brass bristles in the center are very effective in removing dirt and lifting the nap of the leather giving it that new store bought look. Use it regularly and your shoes/boots will look nicer and last longer.I advise treating your shoes with a suede waterproofing spray before you wear them and recommend that you brush your shoes/boots before you spray them and again after they have dried.

This is the perfect size brush for my use. It is 2 1/2" x 4 1/4, and the bristles are 3/4" long. The individual bristles are study, but not too stiff. I used this to brush down the nap on my long suedeskirt. It works just as I hoped it would. My Dry Cleaner recommended using a brush and spot cleaner rather than actual cleaning, which takes away the vibrancy of the color because of the chemicals used. I am very satisfied with the result of the suede fabric after a few brushings.
