Don't listen to the guys who say its inferior product ! it is a direct replacement .If anyone is familiar with changing Chevy ignition you should know that its Pain in the side to get to this part . You need special sockets and a steering wheel puller kit . TAKE YOUR TIME ITS OLD PLASTIC IN THESE THINGS YOU WILLL BREAK STUFF .

It also seems after installing this my heater controls (blower motor) remains able to turn on and off through all speeds with key off, out of ignition. It might be something else entirely.. I dunno yet.
