I purchased this for my God Son as a confirmation gift. He is very active in sports and this was his first necklace. Maybe go for silver of gold next time.

The chain itself is thin, light and weak. Also the pendant is smaller than expected. After about a month of wearing it the chain broke one day when I went to put it on, just from normal pull on it. Would not reccomend.
