Very nice travel create. Not for everyday use at home, but perfect for it 78 lb dog.

my favorite thing about this dog crate is how compact it is when it is broken down. i LOVE how portable it is and how easy it is to set up and take down. the convenience factor is very high. i ordered this because i drive a fiat and i have a new puppy, so when i am traveling, i don't have the option to bring a crate with me to bring her with me just because a crate won't fit in my car WITH her. i wanted a portable crate i could use for road travel so that i had the option to bring my puppy with me when i'm staying away from home.in theory this should work well for that purpose because it is so compact and portable. it does fit in the hatchback of my fiat fully broken down, even with all my seats up. however, it hasn't been the perfect solution to my problem because this crate does stress my puppy out a bit. i think she gets stressed that she can't see very easily through the mesh. she wants to be able to see me. she also is a chewer and because she's able to get some give from the fabric the crate is made of, she is pretty tireless about trying to chew the fabric to puncture holes in the fabric. i think she could easily break through the fabric given enough time, so i haven't been able to put her in this crate for longer periods of time or unsupervised, which i hoped i would be able to.my puppy is only 6 months old so i think some of that would get better over time and with the benefit of training sessions in this crate. but it's still worth mentioning because if i think she could chew through the fabric, that means any dog that is an aggressive chewer might be able to do the same!if you are looking into this for an adult dog who is very well crate-trained, i think it's a 10/10. i think it's an excellent quality product and in all honesty it's held up extremely well to my puppy's tireless attempts to chew the fabric - she has not punctured a large hole yet after a few times of using this. but i still have to give the disclaimer in case anyone wanted it for a similar thing i did.

This Collapsible Dog Crate has been a great solution for traveling with our very needy cat. I know it is far more expensive than more basic crates, but after handling this, I can fully understand why and 100% support the price being asked. This is a VERY high-quality crate. A lot of love and thought was put into the design, and I truly believe that as long as you don't have a naturally destructive animal. Obviously, if your cat or dog goes through mesh like it's a game, this won't be as perfect for you. My cat has great respect for the authority of nearly any barrier and will not claw or otherwise mess with the mesh siding. He actually really loves this crate, so we keep it popped open at home too, with the 2 or 3 sides fully open and we find him napping in there often.The collapsible design of this crate makes it simple to store when not in use. It arrives pretty much good to go right out of the box, just confirm that the corners are in the right spots, pop the frame open by making sure each bar has locked into place, add the pet mat, and it's ready to use. The instructions make it seem more complicated than it is, the whole unit came together in less than a minute for me.The sturdy frame provides reliable support during trips, keeping your pet safe while the mesh panels on 3 sides allow for constant fresh air. The included washable pet mat is decent, giving my cat some extra comfort while giving me peace of mind about accidents (rare, but never impossible). The two storage pockets are perfect for keeping essentials like treats or a small toy handy. The locking zippers are a great feature for added security, especially since cats can sometimes be escape artists. It’s lightweight enough to carry easily, and the overall build quality holds up well for regular use (again, this is pet personality dependent).The size I picked up (26") is just right for Medium to Large cats -- enough room to move around comfortably with room to spare while still being secure (in case of sudden stops) and not taking up an overabundance of room. I honestly pictured it as being smaller than it turned out to be, which was a pleasant surprise.
