Just received this for our little one's nursery and it's absolutely adorable! I couldn't be happier! It arrived in perfect condition, safely packed with foam and tape. It also came with an energy saving light bulb, so that was a perk! The black and white with gold is my nursery theme and now that we know it's a girl, this lamp was a must! It's also a nice size and fairly sturdy. Great purchase!

Paint job was poorly done and chipped in several areas. Got a replacement but it had the same issue. Sent it back for a refund.

This is a great lamp! Very solid and great for the price. It was on sale when I bought it but would pay full price for it. The build quality is very high and feels very sturdy. The shade is also well built on this lamp. Most lamps that I have bought in the past are very flimsy and feel like they are going to fall apart at any time. I am currently having a second child and will be looking to NoJo for an other lamp to buy. Good job with this one!!

This is GORGEOUS!! I needed an extra lamp for the spare room my granddaughters use. First, lavender was hard to find and if I did find it, the lamp was ugly. I happened to see this and crossed my fingers. (Was afraid it might be one of those "mini" lamps). It's the perfect size for the round table in the bedroom where I have a purple table cloth. The table sits higher than a nightstand so the lamp really shows off and looks pretty. I have a taller lamp on the night stand but this would work okay. However, I feel the size is more for a dresser or table such as I am using. I love this lamp! I want to add that it arrived almost immediately and even came with a light bulb!

My little girl has slept fine with no nightlight until recently when she started having bad dreams. When I went shopping for a nightlight for her a lot of them were battery operated or had timers that shut off or were just lame. This lamp is way cooler, plugs into the wall and with a 25 watt LED bulb in gives off just the right amount of light and costs next to nothing to leave on all night.***I would never use this, or any other lamp, as an all-night light with a lightbulb that gives off any heat or that could be dangerous. If you're going to have it running for prolonged periods get an LED soft white bulb. They're a little more expensive but last forever, are far safer and use very little energy.***

This is a cute little lamp, smaller than I thought it would be, but to be honest I didn't read the specifications when I ordered it, so I only have myself to blame for that. It is only a 40 watt maximum lamp so it is not going to light up an entire room mainly just a little corner. Perfect for having by a changing table for a newborn baby. It isn't overly girly and can be used for boy nursery's as well. Overall, I got it, plugged it in, it lights up and well, what more do you want from a lamp?

It is for a shower gift and will not be used until Feb 2014, however I did open the package and the lamp is very cute. It will be a perfect addition to the Ahoy Mate themed room. The base is a modeled resin or something like that. It will well painted and the lamp shade is just perfect. The bulb is included and supports energy efficient guidelines. The lamp and the shade have a generous footprint...not skimpy at all. Highly recommend for any boat/jungle/boy themed room.

I purchased the matching crib set and other items and I think that this lamp is my favorite of all the nojo jungle items. It is extremely cute with the monkey pull to turn the the light on. It matches the crib set and there is not one thing that I do not like about this little light. It came with a light bulb which is great. The cord could be a little longer as I think it is only about 3 feet, but we have it near an outlet so this is not an issue. It is a great little lamp. If you are picky, the paint job at the base of the elephant has a little bit of the green base paint, so it is not perfect... but cute enough for a nursery.

This lamp is very cute. I was looking everywhere for this lamp to match my NOJO Bright Blossom nursery. I love green and yellow so it fits perfectly with my baby's room decor. The pop out butter flies on the lamp shade is a nice added touch. They don't tear easily. The lamp can get pretty bright....But not to bright. I prefer to turn this lamp on at night if I need to, versus the standing lamp in my baby's room. It won't brighten up the entire room and disturb my baby while she is sleeping.
