These are great for starting new seeds. Volume is perfect for average Gardener They fit inside 1020 trays. The deeper cell allows for additional root growth before transplanting

These trays are sturdy, each cell has its own drainage hole and the cells are deep enough to afford great root growth. I use these trays to sow seeds and or transplanting seedlings into.. when you pop out a plant you have a cluster of strong roots which enables the seedlings to grow into a healthy robust plant. The tray itself is quite sturdy too.

These trays were pricier but dude, well worth it. Nice deep cups and literally no warping when full. I wish I could get deeper bottom trays to go with.

These worked very well, of course, since it depends on the soil and seed you use obviously, light and water, etc. In the future though, I would recommend a larger plug seed starter, 5” deep and 3” at the top at least. I had to do a lot of potting on with this smaller size, while waiting to transfer the seedlings to the garden. They work well for starting perennials, which was what I did. Very thick plastic, and sturdy.

I bought these in early spring, loved them so much I had to buy more!They are a nice thick gauge plastic so can be reused lots of times, and so deep you get extra time before they get root bound!I just wish I could find a 5” deep in Canada, but until then, these are better than any thing else I have found so far!I bought some trays from a different company last year and they smelled (offgassing) so bad! But these were much much better!
