Well packaged & arrived in good shape. Upon opening it, you will like the weight & how smoothly it operates. Like my 3 previous NOVA lathe chucks, you can tell it was engineered for excellence & promotes your ease-of-use & overall quuality.

I'm not impressed with the quality of this chuck. (Maybe it's just the chuck key, but that impression carries over to the whole chuck.) My earlier Nova chucks seem to be much higher quality - (and they are not that much older.) My biggest gripe is the direction of tightening and loosening the chuck. Nova chuck are generally backwards from other brands, but I'm used to it. Now they reversed direction so I have to remember which one I'm using. Not a big deal, but WHY?
