NRS invented the cam buckle straps and these are as good as they get. There is a good reason why these cost a bit more. It's because they're way better. These straps should be standard equipment with pickup trucks. I was very happy when NRS started making these straps in black instead of the original blue. I use these straps a lot, for some challenging jobs, and they never disappoint me.

Easy to use, functional. They do what they’re supposed to do and do it well.

I have used kayak straps from several brands for 25 years. These hold as well as any I have used and the stiching is robust and neat. My favorite feature of these straps from NRS is that the buckles are rounded off and smooth very unlikely to scratch or pinch yourself and less damaging to car paint.

Got this short size for attaching my 'boy's axe' to my kit--works fantastic, hardy metal buckles and strong straps while still being easy to undo when needed. Stomps those cheap plastic click buckles and wimpy straps you usually see in the stores. These are crazy strong straps.Update: Ordered a three foot set to use as straps for my Maxpedition Look bag (not the Narrow model), to make a more secure closure than the magnetic one for bushcraft use. Ran them through the grab handle and around like a standard haversack or old style school bag, so the extra length hangs down and the metal releases are within easy reach. Will get the 6 or 8 ft ones for bedroll attachment to my pack. These straps are so useful for so many different applications. And for those who somehow can't seem to be bothered to actually read, you get 2 straps--the line up in the picture shows the available lengths to choose from, not the number you get. Honestly, people.
