This is sturdy and does the job. It could have been potentially a 5 star but for the hard plastic that creates marks on newly painted doors.

Make sure the area mounting this to is mostly flat and the door doesn't have decorative trim.

This product is excellent. First quality and easy to install. We moved into a new home in the fall of 2016 that had no safety for the front door and many of our fixtures are brushed nickel. We were looking for a quality product that matched and this fit the bill perfectly. I can't imagine that anyone looking for a product like this would not be super pleased.

This is a very high quality door lock. It opens and closes easily. The rubber on the ring makes it not scuff you doors and avoids scratching. I recommend this product highly.
