Once you get your plate on it, it’s a little hard to see the numbers. You have to offset your plate, which then can mess with the number slightly. You just have to keep pushing the zero till it zeros out but other than that, I like it.

If you are looking for a compact scale that has multiply purposes, this is the one!While it's made from lot of plastic, its compact and measures correctly!I purchased it for three reasons-a) I was given a sour dough starter and you must weigh everything when feeding it and/or baking with it. Most recipes require measuring cups or spoons, but for sour dough starters, you measure grams. Anyone knows a handed down sour dough starter is extra special so you want to do it right!b) I have a luggage scale, but there are times when I'm packing and I want to weigh a small item to see how much of it will impact the 50 pound suit case weight limit. I would rather have a ball park before carefully nestling everything into it's place in the packing process, zipping up the bag only to lift it with the luggage scale and find that it is 8 pounds over! Quick check on my nifty little scale for small items and I can ballpark the max of 50 pounds much better now!c) ETSY! I have a shop and every time I've posted something to sell, it requires a trip to the post office to weigh the item in order to calculate the shipping cost, I now can now weigh my items at home and post my item online at etsy.com/shop/TLCBYGIGI so much quicker! This saves TIME for me. and time is something you can't buy more of!
