The angle of the piping at the steering rack end is not the same as the OEM , which explains why one reviewer said the piece blew apart when he started car . I suspect he cracked a weld bending the pipe to fit . don't waste your money on this item , Its a world of frustration.

Replacement worked great, the task of threading it over the Cat and where you need it is time consuming and took a lot of yelling and some pushing with prybars. Someone posted it took them 7 hours and I'd say it took my son and I something like that.

This isn't an easy job to begin with, but the hose does eventually fit with 1-2 hours of manipulating and bending to get everything lined up.
