The cable is listed for a sportster. The cable cannot make it through the case. It is way to short. Incorrectly listed to fit Sportster.

I ordered this for a 2004 Harley Davidson XL 1200 RC and made sure to verify it was the correct figment via Amazon prior to completing the order. Upon arrival I noticed the Whip coming off of the Stator isn’t long enough to go through the primary Stator hole then wrap around the left side of the front jug, drop down and plug into the regulator. I’m left with the option of draping it to the right over the primary and plugging it into the regulator till such time as I can cut and lengthen either the regulator whip or the stator whip. I’m not certain where the communication was lost but this is where I am at this point and I’m very unhappy !
