It fell off my wood office door in under an hour.I had to take a couple of pieces of packing tape, make inside out circles with each (like double sided tape) and stick them to the back. Once I did that the thing stayed stuck.

My coworkers and I love the At-A-Glance information this wheel gives. Whether I'm out of the room, off campus, working with a students - BOOM.. all right on the door.My only problem is that the adhesive on the back isn't doing a great job. I have to re-stick and press press press the wheel onto my clean/smooth door every other day and every Monday when school starts up again.

Most of my days are spent in the office, but can lead to some confusion when I'm not there. Having this simple wheel means I don't have to stick up a paper sign and can instead rotate it to the correct status. Equally when I've left the office for a meeting it's got a "back soon" bit. I would be tempted to say having a couple of additional blank status options would be handy as "In Mortuary" wouldn't be of commercial appeal I suspect. On the whole it's a great product and well put together. It has attracted some attention from colleagues though as everyone wants to play with it. It's brightly coloured and spins so what's not to love. The rotation is smooth and there's a satisfying clunk when you're in a status. The backing sticks well too. I haven't used the magnets as it's stuck to a wooden door. Works better than expected.

I've had a different version of this in the past and loved it. This fell off my office door immediately because the adhesive was either faulty or not strong enough. The slider indicator to change the dial is now gone, so I can't even use it with the tape I affixed to the back.

Great quality sign for my husbands office door. Great to have rotating options like: ‘out of office’ ‘be back soon’ or ‘in a meeting’ etc. Bought to help him separate work from home.
