Mixer fits perfectly

I have a Behringer X32 on the RS9050 and it seems quite adequate to the task for sitting safely in the studio. I sure wouldn't gig with it because of the bulk - it is not a quick-setup rig. But I'm not nervous about having the mixer on it in the studio. The assembly instructions are thoroughly hidden in the hardware bag, but I got it assembled just fine anyway with only a few missteps. Biggest pain was dropping black washers and wing-nuts onto a black carpet. D'OHThe Disappointment, however, is that the Rack Screws supplied in the hardware bag bear little resemblance to the holes or threads in the rack rails on the uprights. In a few holes on one upright, one of their screws will kinda sorta start, but very quickly jams up and feels like a sure-fire cross-threading if anything further force is applied. In other holes, a screw doesn't even start into the hole. Just looking into the holes, the rail thread seems much more coarse than the threads on the screws. Seems like it could be a metric vs english problem. I have some other rack screws that appear like what I'm used to and I'm gonna try them but haven't had time yet. If it turns out that the holes in the rails are the problem, I'm going to be *seriously* whizzed-off.

Not bad, but the two top brackets don't lock in place. Accidentally knocked them off kilter, and my keyboard ended up on the floor.

We've got this loaded with a very heavy mixer on top, a four-channel amp, a condenser, a harmonizer, and a shelf that stores the headset rabbit ears transmitters and the pogs when we're not playing. It handles it all quite nicely. It's stable, even with the weight, and rolls easily. Get yourself a couple of black bungies, because the top slanted rails twist on the crossbar. With the bungies, though, the sound mixer is anchored firmly, and the whole unit is easily moved around on stage. The wheels lock, so you don't have to worry about it rolling. Excellent rack. Highly recommended.

Out of the box and assembled in minutes - very simple. Holds a heavy 20 channel analog mixer with no problem and I was able to install multiple components on the rack rails with no issues. Great buy!

Ideal for my small mixer. Added a shelf for my effects to make my setup more mobile. Perfect for the home studio.

If you have a couple of light things to mount in a rack, this might be OK. The vertical rack portion is pretty solid. It's not quite high enough to comfortably use a mixer that's mounted on it unless you are under 5 ft tall. The included washers were not included in the package. The biggest issue I had with it is that there is no way to secure a mixer to the bars that are supposed to hold the mixer, and the bars are held on by one bolt to the crossbar, so it's pretty unstable and the mixer you use would have to be very light. I returned it for that reason. If you were just needing to mount a couple of pieces of lightweight gear and a thin, flat, light mixer, it would work OK. Suggestion for improvement - make it about four rack spaces taller, and provide a way to secure a mixer.

This rack is very heavy duty and held my mixer at a suitable height and angle to give easy access to the dials and controls. You can adjust the angle of the support arms easily.I had just acquired a 23" wide by 20" tall mixer/amp and the arms on this rack were well positioned to support it.My 4 star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the stand, which is excellent, but has to do instead with my needs. I was looking for one that I could fold up easily for transport. This RS 9050 rack can be stored flat (it came in flat in the shipping box). But to get it flat again required the removal of 8 bolts. I estimate it would take about 5-10 minutes to accomplish this breakdown--more time and trouble than I wanted to take after each gig.

I`m reluctant to give a negative review, because I am a fan of On Stage gear, but the top rack is not up to their usual standard. The top bars are secured with only one screw each, which is not enough support long term. I don`t happen to like the length of the overhanging bars, but that`s a personal preference. Thankfully, I have the tools to make up for these issues. I used a metal saw to cut the arms to the desired length and used my drill press to make twin holes with new screws to fasten the vertical bars. It is solid, looks great and works well now. Everything else on the unit is up to On Stage standards.

I recently purchased this rack for my Allen and Heath GL2400 that I use in my project studio. I am very pleased with the design and quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can install rack mount gear below the mixer arms. I have my two studio amps, crossover, and graphic equalizer mounted in the rack below the mixer. This rack is well worth the price and it looks nice in a studio.
