Really good chair. High quality and appears to be pretty robust. Comfortable and relatively easy to erect compared to other chairs with the rather innovative click system. Quite low but on par with three other camping chairs of a similar nature that I’ve had over the years. I knew before I bought it that the pack size was quite large and the weight quite heavy, so not for trekking. More of a car camping, festival, fishing chair. The only issue that I have with it is that it is a nightmare trying to get it back in the bag. Perhaps there’s a trick to it but really the bag is too tight. This is common because manufacturers of this kind of gear want to publish as small a pack size as possible. I may need to house it in something else for ease of use. So one star dropped.

Excellent quality and lightweight. I've been testing it in the house before I take it camping. Very comfortable, easy to assemble and pack away when done. Takes up a lot less space and is much lighter than those cheap camp chairs, and WAY more comfortable. Thanks to Andy at Kent Survival for the suggestion.

For the price this is the best camping chair I've ever had. Great for car/base camp camping. The frame design overcomes the old strain trying to put the seat on the frame with its expansion AFTER installation. (Be sure to put the top on first, then the bottom with it still squeezed together, then expand from underneath until you hear the click). Love it when I see problems overcome by proper and innovative design features!

I love this chair. I am traveling overseas and camping right now so I bought this chair to chill out in between activities. It is fairly lightweight for its size, it’s comfortable and packs away nicely in the bag. The reviews that say it’s “over complicated” and “difficult to put back in the bag” are probably doing it wrong.

Lots more comfortable than my non-high back chair. It has bigger tubing and seems like a lot sturdier design. I mainly got it for my Four Wheel Camper- Fleet-Side Dinette. It fits right where I want it even with the top down. A few times setting it up and taking it down was worth it to show you how things go and the Velcro straps for holding the legs is a great idea.My only "con" if you can call it that, is the 3 section tubing for the back wants to pull partially apart in random sections when you're attaching the bottom material. I suggest you make sure that they are all seated before you sit in it. I put a little paraffin wax on those sections to make sure they didn't bind and that seems to make them seat by themselves.

Interesting alternative to the traditional camping chair. It is small and portable, lightweight, and actually kinda comfortable considering its odd shape and size. But traditional camping chairs are much, much cheaper, so I don't necessarily think a chair that saves you a small amount of space is worth paying an extra $50. Maybe within time they can decrease the cost and make this chair an affordable alternative, but until then I can't really recommend spending $60 on this chair.

When this arrived and I saw the size of the package, I was half expecting it to be a child chair - but no... once it was unfolded and the cover put over it I was amazed to see it was a full size adult chair.I've had a couple of camping chairs over the years (our current ones are probably about 15 years old so a replacement was long overdue).The fact that this chair folds away to such a small size immediately made me want to buy a second - as they're nice and easy to store, takes up little room when travelling and nice and light to carry. Took a little bit of practice to get the hang of folding it back down to store again, but I got there in the end.It really is a miracle of engineering, especially as it has a weight capacity of 170kg. I'm a large lad, not that large any more (currently just under 140kg), so always a bit dubious about folding furniture... but I feel nice and secure sat on this.Definitely recommended.

We bought these to replace our old, bulky, heavy chairs. We needed something small and light since we have started camping out of our car.These chairs fit the bill perfectly. They're very compact and super light. the bag has a convenient carry handle as well.Set up is easy once you have a little practice, and take down is just as simple.Highly recommend.
