The light should be LED in these switches, but there are neon lamps inside. This is why the light will not work for anyone using it for a scooter. I was lucky to be able to swap out the the LED part of the old switch to this one and got it to work.

Switch worked fine but light did not function, tried two, sent 1st one back then when light on 2nd one didn’t work either decided to just accept that the light function on the switch is defective. Can still turn the scooter off and on so as long as the light function is not important to you, it works as a switch.
