I use this stand for my lighting console and the double-frame that is welded is perfect for the extra size/weight of the lighting console. Very good product

I’ve owned many keyboard stands but I must say this is by far the most solid stand with the lower height setting that I’ve been looking for. I’m 5”6 so sitting down usually causes me to struggle because it’s too high on the lowest setting. If you are looking to stand while playing this stand adjusts to a very high position. I use a Korg Kronos with it with no issues. In the past I’ve bumped into stands where they nearly toppled. This is not the case with this. I usually don’t do reviews but for this product I wanted to praise it as it performs beautifully.

This thing is heavy and sturdy! It is perfect! It doesn’t not wiggle or anything when I put my heavy 88 keys keyboard on it. Highly recommend!

Excellent stand. Very sturdy! Be careful, this company makes another “double-x” stand that is not sturdy, and shakes when you’re playing with even moderate force. This one, however, is solid as a rock, and has a handy “trigger” to open and close the stand.

Good design, strong construction. I am 5'9 and have no problem being comfortable in the sitting position or with legs extended in the standing position. Some have said they can't play comfortably while sitting because the frame is in the way - not my experience, maybe that has more to do with their arm length. The KS8291 is the same thing but with detachable base and top. There is no advantage to that except for a smaller shipping box. IMO the KS7291 with its' welded construction is better.

Easy to adjust, very sturdy. I have another one that is flimsy and feels like the keyboard is going to fall. This is solid but not too heavy that I can't move it. Great product.

Bought this for a HEAVY fully weighted keyboard. I have no complaints about the craftsmanship or durability, and the height adjustment is really easy to use. Would buy again.
