This heavy-duty 3-shaft 2-clutch stand allows for maximum height adjustments up to 10 feet and will support up to 140 lbs. The reversible top shaft design on this steel-aluminum stand may be used with either 1 3/8" or 1 1/2" lighting bars and allows you to use this stand as both a lighting stand or a speaker stand. The double brace leg supports, extra long legs and locking pin make this stand extremely sturdy and safe.

You can only get the tripod to spread out about 1/3 of the way before the center pole extends beyond the depth of the legs. in 21 years of DJing, I've never seen this, ever. It's really sturdy, more solid than any other tripod I've used but wow. What a design flaw!

Anything you need this stand to do... it'll do for you. I use it for lights because of the height I get with it but I have also put speakers on it and hoisted those babies WAY up there.. I love these stands! If you need something HEAVY duty.. and I mean.. these are NOT light... this stand is what you're looking for!!

Overall excellent. Wish they were lighter. They are quite heavy compared to my other stands. Only reason for 4 stars is weight.

Arrived damaged, otherwise decent product. Metal tension knobs would prevent this problem as it was the knob that was broken.

I use this to mount a projector for our church (we use a school gym). It's easy to set up and holds the 20lb projector securely. It's not very stiff (i.e. you can cause it to sway a little if you bump it), but it is safe.
