I used this to tune my 2 chainsaws and 2 trimmers. I used it with the wire, clamping it to the spark plug wire on the machine and without the wire and clamp, just touching it to the machines. The readings were the same and it just worked perfectly with no fuss. It's so portable and easy you can use it to tune any 2 stroke in just minutes. It couldn't be any easier and I read that the Oppama was a high quality item. The only drawback I can see is supposedly, the battery can't be replaced. They are supposed to last for 20,000 running hours so that hasn't been an issue yet....so for how well it's worked, five stars, all the way!

It works great!!! I’ve used it on multiple saws and weed eaters all ready. I takes the guesswork out when you’re tuning a saw. I’ve also used it on a pressure washer and a generator to get them tuned up and running where they should be. I’d buy this product again!

It works ok I was hoping it wouldn't jump around so much but it works. I tried everything to get it not to jump around far as rpm bit couldn't get it to stop pulsating up and down.

I use this for tuning chainsaws and it works great. Update rate is as fast as more expensive tachs. I would buy again if I ever need another one.
