Easy install. Did not use the 4 supplied marrettes which couldn't securely join 2 wires. Used butt connectors instead. Pleased with the light construction and brightness. Replaced a 6" rectangular light on a Princecraft trailer. Low profile enough to fit under the trailer bracket.

They wanted as much as $40-50 locally for these exact same LED trailer light kit. Amazon had them for around $25!! Once installed, they look great and are plenty bright at night, helping to ensure anyone behind you knows what your planned maneuvers are.

These led lights are what came on my trailer. I’m replacing the passenger side light because I backed into a tree. Amazingly, the light still worked, and I initially just tie wrapped it up to stay legal. Very tough..

Good quality lights with dedicated ground wire. They aren’t as bright as some of the multi-led assemblies but they’ve held up well so far, even being fully submerged, and are priced well.

Work great right out out of the box. No problem no hassle. These are a few dollars cheaper at academy sports but this is sometimes nice to avoid the traffic getting there and back home.

This taillight kit is a good bargain.Buy one.Applies to Optronics ONE LED TLL008RK (kit), STL009RB, STL008RBMy concern and the 1 star rating is in the instructions.I did some research into this light before I purchased.I bought it because it has a ground wire. (White)Most trailer lights are designed by electricians instead of engineers.(always low grade easiest fastest cheapest)That is why virtually all standard trailer lights are grounded by the mounting bolts/posts.It's quick, it's easy, it's fast. (it's garbage)The grounding bolts/posts are a very poor method of grounding. These trailer lights have a ground wire. (hooray!!!! a positive ground)This is where the 1 star rating happens.Molded on to the very light case it says:(quote in caps)"LAMP IS GROUNDED THROUGH MOUNTING BOLTS"(end quote)Included instructions say:(quote)"3. White Wire (Ground) - Not Applicable (lights are self grounding)"(end quote)The instructions agree with the information molded into the plastic case/ housing.Guess what???This is incorrect. In fact, it is false.I broke out my trusty Fluke meter and did a simple test. The meter said that the White wire is NOT connected to the posts. That is the opposite of all the information I was given in the instructions.Only one thing left to do...Test the light.I turned on my old battery charger and hooked up the lights.Sure enough..... the lights are NOT GROUNDED THROUGH THE POSTS.The LIGHTS ARE GROUNDED THROUGH THE WHITE WIRE ONLY.Needless to say I was very happy to prove this.It is exactly what I wanted. My sincere advise is, trust this review, it is verified. My technical advise is, use a positive ground on your trailer wiring and avoid all those extremely annoying problems. (do not attach it to the frame)Attach ALL ground wires with wires. (takes more time, effort and cost)Use solder instead of electrician crimps or wire nuts. (takes more time, effort and cost)Trust me, you don't need the hassle of a poor wiring job.I had Zero failures on my hand installed trailer wiring since 1984.Eventually the sun killed the wire insulation. (34 years later)It sat in the sun Every Day. (no surprise)This time LED and Teflon coated wires. (good for at least another 30 years)

These lights were very easy to install. These were a replacement for ones that had regular bulbs. I am looking forward to never having to change a bulb again. The only issue was where the wires come out of the lights. They did not line up with the holes the original ones used on my trailer. I just had to put a few extra washers on the mounting bolts to gain some space. No big deal. They looked great and worked fine. Time will tell how long they last using them on my fresh water boat trailer.
