The Orbit mister nozzles replaced the 5 one-year old nozzles and the new nozzles worked perfectly, spraying a fine mist. It is used in the corral for my one. Miniature horse. In Phoenix AZ you need a way to cool off in June, July and August. Stay cool! 💦

A shipment delay was expected but in the end, these nozzles arrived early and just in time for a heat wave! Also want to mention they are exactly as promised and what I needed to replace the nozzle I our misting sticks. Very happy, thank you!

Great little nozzles that do not last that long (they clog up via water deposits due to the small misting hole), even if you usethe recommended filter.I have been using these for five years, and have discovered you can buy them at less than half the price, just by orderingin lots of 20; do this, as you are going to need them.Because they do not last that long before you have to try and unclog them, the cheaper you can get them, the better! The best way to clean them out that I have found, is by using vinegar and water in a sonic cleaner; if this fails, you can also try the Orbit Arizona Mist 10103 Misting Nozzle Cleaner which will work most of the time.As a side note, the hypro mister 301AF 0.7-80 (Farmtek WF4015) which has a 1/8" MNPT (male national pipe thread) and requires a different PVC "T" (Farmtek WF1270) than this nozzle, and has a built in metal mesh screen, performs much better than the Orbit. The Hypro has a better fan pattern, and does not clog up like the orbit mister. If the misters are in a hard to reach location (like mine) where you need an 8ft A frame ladder to get to them, you might want to make a simple test tool out of a 1/2"PVC hose fitting, mister housing, and end cap: See photo.

Never seen these working because my son needed them for his misting system. We didn't get a chance to fit them - too busy.

These mister heads are great. They are the lowest consumption heads on the market, but produce ample super fine mist. I have had no clogging problems over the 4 seasons I have used their systems. The only reason I had to get more was because I managed to lose two of them while putting it together when they dropped and rolled into the bushes (go figure). I have in recent months noticed that Amazon is gathering all goods, even from outside vendors, before shipping with their free super saver shipping. This slows down delivery quite a bit and has caused me to start looking elsewhere for products.

I have a misting fan to use on my screened patio in the summer. My water is hard and clogs the spray nozzles over the course of the summer and I have been having problems finding replacements. When I saw these at Amazon I was concerned that they may not fit my brand of fan, but the price was reasonable for a 5 package so I took a chance. I replaced one nozzle that wasn't working and the new one fit just right and worked right away. I couldn't ask for better. This was a bargain.

Great product, but I thought the shipping was too high. The plastic nozzles that came with my arizona mister where crap! They cracked! All of them. Shipping should not be so high, I bought 20 and at 5 per package and charged separately for shipping for each one not very happy about that. There was no competition for the nozzles so no chance at finding them at a better ship rate.

Ok, so I just got three packs of these misters today and I haven't had the time to do anything with them as I am still at work. So I can't comment on how the work, or if any were shipped defective yet. They all seem to look good. I will report back later this week when I have had the time to set up my system. I will adjust my star rating if needed. However, I wanted to comment on a couple of things.First of all they are small. Much smaller than I thought from the picture. This is a good thing. I am building my misting system from scratch, and I am using 3/8 and 1/4 inch poly tubing. I was not yet sure how I would use these fittings with my system. However, they fit perfectly into the end of regular 1/4 inch poly hose. Just screw it right in like a threaded drip system dripper. FANTASTIC! This will make it super easy to install. I'm not even sure that I will need to clamp them as the seem really tight in the 1/4".The other thing is that they seem to be really nice quality. And at around $2 each, they are in the same ball park as other water system fittings I've purchased in the past. Time and install will tell me more about their quality, but at fist glance, I am very happy I ordered these.Update to come...

These misters are of better quality than those that do not have the silver head inserts where the misting actually takes place. These misters are very effective at throwing out a good amount of water for their size and it will cool you off and get you quite wet if you're sitting under them. These will clog along with every other mister you will ever buy so their is some work involved in keeping any mister system operating. Most of the time when they clog it is due to calcium deposits that build up and restrict the passage of water. When they do get clogged with calcium, which is about once or twice each summer for my well water experience, I use a small disposable plastic container such as an empty applesauce cup and drop the misters that need cleaning into the cup. I then add C.L.R. or Lime Away into the cup, but only enough to cover the misters. Let it sit in the cleaner for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then remove and rinse them with water to remove the cleaner. Do not get the cleaner on your skin! It can be nasty stuff, but it does an effective job at cleaning the mister heads! While you're waiting for the misters to sit in the cleaner, it is a good time to turn the water on to flush out the lines that lead to the misters. I would recommend these if you have an outside sitting area that needs a little cooling, around pools, or near a Hummingbird garden. Hummingbirds love flying in and out of the mist on a hot day and I've seen them do this on many occasions which is an extra highlight for creating and maintaining a mister system in your yard!
