It started going off on its own after a week, it was not caused by wind etc. If I armed it and left it on a table it started to chirp constantly until I turned it off. Have to buy another one now, a proper one . Junk

This is a sturdy lock which serves as a deterrent to would be thieves. My bike is usually garaged at home so I don't always set the alarm - it can be set to lock without. That said, the alarm is very loud if used!
