A BIT OF HISTORY FIRST. I BOUGHT A TUB OF CARQUEST HIGH TEMP BEARING GREASE IN 2012. IT WAS ABOUT $4.00 FOR A 16OZ TUB AND CAME IN A CARD BOARD AND METAL LINED TUB WITH A PLATIC LID. IT WAS A HONEY COLORED NON SYNTHETIC PETRO- GREASE. SEMI-SYNTHETIC OILS AND ADDITIVES WERE MORE POPULAR AT THAT TIME. THIS NEW GREASE COMES IN A BETTER CONTAINER A DURABLE ALL PLATIC TUB BUT THE TOP IS STILL FRICTION FIT (WE HOPED FOR A SCREW ON LID). THE GREASE CONTAINER DID NOT HAVE A SEAL WHICH WOULD ADDRESS THE REVIEWS ABOUT SHIPPING SPILLAGE. NOW TO THE GOOD STUFF. THIS GREASE SMELLS LOADS BETTER THEN THEY OLD GREASE AND I BELIEVE HAS A WIDER RANGE OF APPLICATIONS. CATCH THIS WHILE IT IS ON SALE BECAUSE THESE PRICES WON'T LAST (TRUST ME I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS AREA FOR THREE YEARS). I RECOMMEND THIS GREASE.

I have used ER products for a long time and have always had great results and longevity from their products. I have used this ER grease in industrial machinery and at home and it always does a great job in my opinion of keeping bearings greased and seals from dry rotting. This grease worked great for my applications and I have a lot left over for future uses.

This is like a hard paste. Put it on and packed put everything back together and the wheels would not turn.Pulled apart cleaned up and got a different bearing grease at Autozone works great now.

Good grease for general use. I bought thinking the plastic container would hold up better in storage and shipping. Arrived in a plastic bag with grease all over. Took a while to clean up. No issues with the product but I will probably buy something local next time to insure a clean unspilled product.
