The denim shorts are well-made, they are supercute, and expandable for the mom-to-be's growing belly. This is a discreet maternity item that offers the mom an opportunity to be stylish, especially when worn with an oversized tunic, very flattering.

I am on my 4th summer pregnancy, and I was excited to try these, as I have never tried the style where there are the elastic panels that stretch around your bump. Maybe I'm just not used to this style, but being 20wks pregnant at the end of May, these will not be comfortable on me as the summer progresses.Theses shorts arrived in perfect condition and there was no offensive order clinging to the fabric. The front "pockets" are purely aesthetic, but the rear pockets are real and able to hold the average smart phone comfortably. The jean material has a decent amount of stretch, but the body of the shorts is rather clingy and has a tendency to ride up if you are moving around as I am with multiple toddlers.The main reason I am not enjoying this style is because these shorts are supposed to come to just below the navel (as a mid-rise pant), but because they are not meant to be "over bump" this makes the waistband roll down on my body constantly. This may not be the case for everyone, as we all have unique shapes in pregnancy. I think these may be a good short for post-partum, as the belly won't be growing into the hotter part of the summer, but as I get bigger these will only get more uncomfortable.I also found I couldn't wear these shorts without tucking a shirt in. The seam where the elastic panel is inserted about the faux pocket is VERY itchy if it is against my bare skin (see picture with highlighting). I do not have overly sensitive skin, but even after washing this pair of shorts 2x, this spot is still very itchy on my skin. This style of the tucked in t-shirt is a style I wear often, but not while pregnant, as it makes one's silhouette very awkward when you have a 2nd trimester (or later) bump. If you are someone with a less prominent bump, this may look fine on you, but the look doesn't suit me.The pants themselves are of good quality, but the style is unflattering to my body and the cut isn't comfortable for me. This is the reason I am deducting 2 stars.

I am NOT pregnant and these shorts fit great for someone with a little belly like me! I am a size XXL in everything so that is what I got in these. They fit like a charm! So needless to say the fit is true to size. The quality is EXCELLENT, and you'd never know I was wearing maternity shorts!

I ordered these shorts for my daughter in a size medium since she usually wears around size 4 or 6. They seem like a good choice for her. The size seems correct and should work for her when she grows some. The shorts are very cute, but short. She will wear these mostly at home as the summers get hot around here. The shorts have a very stretchy waist and tummy area and are adjustable. They feel like true denim, but aren’t thick or too hot. They are fairly pliable and not stiff or scratchy. They seem like they will wear very comfortably. I love the frayed hemline and the color. These are something I’d recommend to anyone wanting cute trendy shorts during their pregnancy.
