Used these ends with 1/4” bungee cord to re-string two kayaks. They worked great. I used Vise-Grip GrooveLock pliers to connect the ends together and it was much easier than trying to squeeze them with your fingers. They seem to hold very tightly under pressure. Time will tell if the plastic will get brittle with the constant exposure to water and sun, but at least they are simple to replace if necessary and there are plenty in the package. Definitely a 5 star purchase.
