As another reviewer mentioned, this cable is too long to fit in the 1502, which it says it compatible with. Even the label on the bag says A1502.

Obviously if you are working with computer parts be careful, but especially with these. The way this wire lays against the battery in a lot of the macbooks is 1: a tight fit and 2 the strip is very thin and small. This product works and was awesome but user error while fixing another piece messed it up. So just be careful!

After finding out from the Apple store that the issue with my MacBook was going to cost a lot of $$ to resolve, my net searches found this DYI replacement part. Great price and easy to replace. It has been weeks and my MacBook is still working great. Fingers crossed.

My daughter's macbook pro 2015 retina (pre-touch bar) had issues of keyboard and trackpad not working. but the power button would work. So I decided to replace the trackpad/keyboard cable. Took 10 minutes. You need a pentalobe and T6 screwdriver. The cable breaks down. Now it's seems ok. A similar issue exists with the Hard drive cable of 2012 Macbook Pros.
