I use it on shoes to tighten elastic shoes lace. The size is perfect. If the spring is stronger that will be really perfect.

These toggles come in great colors, but they are a bit flimsy. The center part is very thin and the little spring comes out if you don't push down very straight. I am afraid that people with weak fingers have a harder time pushing it down. I wish they would be thicker! The clamping mechanism holds well though for my purposes.

The item I received was drastically different from the item pictured. I ordered this item for it's small size and the item that showed up, though was functionally similar, was much larger. I think I can still use it for my intended purpose, so I won't bother returning it, but I'll be forced to give another seller my money in the hopes that I will receive the item I want.
