I needed to tame my dash tweeters in my truck. I have them hooked up to to the front channels (along with the front door speakers) of a 5ch amp. I was scratching my head on how to quiet them down a bit and came across this guy.Wiring it was a bit difficult, but now I can adjust the dash tweeters volume independently of the door speakers even though they are all powered by the same channel.I ended up 3d printing a holder for this guy (it's a bit big).

On time and looks like good product. Just VERY large and wouldn't fit the switch box I needed it to and had to return. To bad as seems like well built product.

Very nice quality. Great seller (Parts-Express). If you're putting this in a project box (rather than a speaker cabinet), note that the shaft is quite long. (I made it work in a project box by adding a bushing and -- for additional support -- by tying the body to the box.)

This is bigger than I was expecting and I had to do a lot of modification to the custom console I prebuilt to make it fit. Works fine, just HUGE!! Recommend you check for fit prior to ordering. Works well enough I had to overlook the struggle to make it fit.

Great part but I did not use it as it is much larger physically than I could use for my application, so I had to return it.

I needed an attenuator for tweeters relative to woofers. This arrived on time and works great. Lpads are hard to find in local stores these days. It is nice to have Amazon access to unusual items. Be sure to get an Lpad that matches up to the power level of your amplifier. There is no penalty for selecting a 100W Lpad for an amplifier with a much lower power level.

We needed a separate volume control for a pair of outdoor speakers connected to B-Front outputs on our sunroom audio system. In comes the L-Pad. We added a project box and 8 banana jacks (about $24 at a local electronics retailer) for a professional appearance. We now have superb volume control over the outdoor speakers. The knob shaft is rather long, plan on mounting the L-Pad deeper into a project box.
