I researched a ton of carriers before our trip. We have a 22lb Cavachon which is on the bigger size to be taking on a plane. I decided on this carrier and couldn’t have been happier. It’s well made and very sturdy. The big seller for me was the option to expand the carrier for more room. Our pup could have done the 2.5 hour flight without it, but I’m sure he was happy to have the option to stretch out. It fit really well under the seat in front. I took the frame (wheels) off and placed them upside down and then placed the carrier on top of the frame. He slept the entire time and didn’t make a sound. He seemed very comfortable and unbothered. We let him sleep for a couple hours in the carrier and my kids rolled him around the house several times in the weeks leading up to our flight to get him acclimated. Great purchase!

I’ve tried several rolling carriers for our 9 lb chihuahua. I prefer the ones on spinner wheels rather than a pulling type of situation. It’s really difficult to find one this tote bag style with the handle in the middle rather than at the end. This carrier is sturdy, material is super thick. I surprisingly like the green color with yellow accents. Zippers are a bit difficult because of the thick material but the only one I’ll routinely unzip is the top one so that’s fine.Only two things keep this from being 5 stars: first, the side that is not meshed is the one that is outward facing when on the rolling platform. So if she’s laying down while being rolled, she can only see out of the ends. It would be better if the mesh side was outward facing.The second this is more bothersome for me: the handle does not snap into place. This makes it feel flimsy and like it might fold in on the animal. I don’t think it will - I hope not - but there’s really nothing stopping it. If this locked into place, I could forgive the mesh situation, as I remove her from the wheels in flight anyway. I don’t know if can find another platform that would fit it but I’ll be looking for one.

I’ll start by reiterating my title. The carrier is well made. The material is thick and sturdy. I think it will hold up very well. There weren’t any instructions included in my box.Wheels: The wheels snap into the base with the tab labeled “opened” inserting first. The wheels snapped in one, They can easily be removed before stowing the bag underneath a seat on the plane.Pet Carrier Bag - The bag securely velco’s onto steel frame using 2 thick velco straps on the bottom of the bag and 2 straps on the backside of the bag.I did struggle zipping some of the zippers because the fabric is so think but it isn’t a problem.

This was a life saver. I read the reviews before purchasing. Looks like manufactures may have been reading them as well. The biggest complaint I read was that the handle didn't lock when pulled up. Mine did so I guess they fixed that. So now to my review. The carrier is very well made. My dog loved the extra room the pull out offers. My only "suggestion" which I am going to fix myself because I can sew and have the knowledge to do is...the velcro straps used to hold the handle upright against the carrier connect but do not tighten. I am going to rework them so they will. The current straps did the trick but could be more secure with a D ring type fitting on one side and a pull through velcro wrap around, easy fix! It rolled very well through the airport and the plane. I have a 14 lb Beagle she fit well and slept the entire trip. FYI on the plane I was on I had a window seat it did not fit under it! But luckily no one was in the middle seat and it fit very well under that seat. I would recommend this carrier.

Beware. My carrier came with the handle and wheels only. The body, where the dog is supposed to be, was missing.

The carrier works great for my 19 lbs Cavalier. Rolls with ease but did not come with the mat for the bottom of the carrier so unfortunately I’ll have to buy one or else my dog will be sitting on the bars of the wheel base which is a total disappointment hence the 4 stars.
