I recently installed peel and stick carpet tiles in my home office and couldn't be happier with the results. These 12x12 inch carpet tiles offer an easy and affordable way to quickly install them myself.The self-adhesive nature makes these carpet tiles extremely easy to install. I simply peel off the backing and press them onto the floor. No messy glues or complicated tools required. These carpet tiles align perfectly with each other and require no trimming or cutting. The installation process was very quick and I was able to install the entire room in less than an hour. (It is recommended to clean the floor before use)The soft padding on these carpet tiles makes a noticeable difference compared to regular flooring. They are comfortable to step on, especially when standing for long periods of time. I also love that these carpet tiles are removable. Since I change up the layout of my home office often, being able to easily pull up and reposition the carpet tiles without damaging the floor is a huge plus. Great experience!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE these carpet tiles! They are well made from high quality material. It is a bit difficult to remove the backing, but once that is removed, the tile is super easy to install. The tiles butt up next to each other very nicely, with no gap or edge length mismatch. You can remove/reposition the tile if need be, but they stick to the surface very strongly. I ordered these to use in one of our bathrooms. We are doing a remodel, and we need to have the flooring replaced. We have pulled the old flooring, but are not sure what we want to go with permanently. So, we are using these tiles as a temporary solution. What a surprise! They are better than we expected! I would not say they are super cushiony, but they are padded, and the carpeting is comfortable on bare feet! They should vacuum up very well (we haven't had to vacuum yet, because it is a rarely used bathroom). We are very happy with these carpet tiles, and will just be leaving them in place for now...no worries and no hurries, we can take our time deciding on flooring for that bathroom. Plus, we have full coverage "floor mat" for whenever guests take a shower. Well worth the listed price!

This midnight black carpet (it's a deep black, not a flat black) is easy to install, especially since it has very strong adhesive on the back. The rows of carpet actually have a pattern that go in one direction so I made all of mine go the same way (see photo attached to this review for reference), but you could make a checkerboard pattern if you wanted. You will also want to note that I cut my edges to go around corners with just an ordinary pair of scissors.

Got these to compare to the brand-name ones I got from a local home improvement store. Not impressed, unfortunately.The BAD:1. The cuts. Most are 12x12". But two of them are at least 1/4" off on one side. QA issue?2. The "padding" isn't. Don't tall them "padded" when they are just thin carpet on an adhesive backing.3. The adhesive application is sub-par. On the two I tested in the workshop, half of the adhesive came off as I pulled the backing off on the first one. On the second the backer kept tearing as I peeled.4. The adhesive itself... Not a fan. a) it smelled funny, Even with a weighted roller, and then leaving it sit for 8 hours:b) it did not reliably stick to a cleaned plywood floor, c) it did not reliably stick to concrete sub floor. It was the same result on both surfaces if they were bare or primed. When I put some adhesive down, the carpet actually came up in the corner, leaving the pre-adhered adhesive stuck to the glue I had laid down!5. Color wasn't consistent. 3-4 of the squares were noticeably lighter shade than the rest.The GOOD:1. Lightweight.2. 1sqft each makes handling and layout easier.3. slightly "roughed" edges. Not sure if intentional, but if so, these do blend on the edge quite well. This worked even when placed at 90-degree rotations.

This in no way resembles carpet, it's nylon. It is not soft, nor will it inspire you to walk on it barefoot or put it somewhere it will get trampled, wherever you are going to place it, make sure that's where you permanently want it. This is labeled "removable" but if you manage to get the plastic backing off revealing the excessive amount of adhesive, stick this somewhere away from traffic. That's if you want it to last longer than a minute. You will not be able to remove them once the adhesive settles in or it will rip the tile. These "carpet tiles" appear to be advertised looking 1 1/2 to 2 times larger than reality. You cannot checkerboard your entire floor with ten plastic fuzzy tiles! They're really thin. It's like astro turf from the 1980s, only not as durable. This is probably good for covering up walls or hiding messes or creative mistakes. I chose to wall mount these inside my closet so it doesn't look like a closet. Since this is the same material they use to protect your pets from clawing your furniture your pets might have other ideas with it. The only real problem I had other than these being very thin was the plastic cover you peel off to reveal the adhesive on the back I could not get or find the plastic to peel it at all I don't know how everybody else found it so easy but I had to use a piece of Scotch tape as a anchor to peel it off. It was the only way without damaging the tile they could have at least put a tab on each tile.

Got these on a whim to test an idea in my bedroom. I am using these as a type of border around an area rug on a bare floor while I am struggling to figure out what I want on said bare floor. These look pretty dang good. So far they have held up well to me and my dogs walking on them. They haven’t been peed or pooped on yet but I think they’ll be easy enough to clean, however my little dude is great at keeping it all on the pads so we may never know. They were easy to peel and stick on the floor and have stayed in place rather well. I have no complaints so far.
