The cleaning wand does not work at all. What will end up happening to you is it will pick up dust and other crap and then deposit it on your sensor making things way worse than when you started. Oh yeah and that book filled with pages that are supposed to clean the wand tip does absolutely nothing. The more you use the book, the most dust the tip will just pick up off of it. The only place the wand seems to deposit anything is only on your sensor. I seriously have no idea how this thing has any positive reviews. I'm gonna be trying VSGO swabs to clean up the mess this thing made. Absolutely freaking awful product.

Long ago I tried cleaning my sensor with the liquid-type cleaner and it couldn't get the sensor totally clean of stubborn particles. Now it is clean! I can't see any spots in test shots.Pressing lightly got most of the stuff off. I had to press slightly firm to get the remaining particles off. I've noticed no damage or strange behavior afterward.Combine this with a rocket blower for quick cleaning and you're golden.

Don't bother with swabs which can drag damaging dust across your sensor. Or with fluids that leave residue traces everywhere. This device works beautifully for removing [stuck] dust or oils from your sensor and will not leave a trace. Pentax knocked it out of the park with this.

This was my first try at cleaning my sensor. It collected enough dust after a few years of use that I was noticing the spots in editing. This just did an OK job for me, since it removed some of the dust. By comparison, I removed more dust with a sensor brush, even though the articles I read liked this better.I eventually did a wet clean which was easier than I expected and it got the sensor as good as new.

This product works and it took me two attempts with this product. Be organized, make sure you have your sticky paper ready and know how to use it. Make sure the plastic cap is opened on the tool, so you are completely ready to start cleaning. I was happy with the results. I had wet cleaned this sensor prior to this and used a dozen swabs during two attempts. It was a filthy sensor; I purchased the camera used.

The Sensor Stick is easy to use and comes with good instructions. It worked to remove all the nasty dust the first time I used it.I was tempted to try a liquid cleaner, but so happy I didn't. It left a residue on the practice surface I tried first. Dodged a bullet on that one.Hope this helps...the Stick is not difficult.

I saw there aren’t many reviews for the Pentax Sensor Cleaning Kit. So, I thought I’d do one.I recently purchased a Leica M Typ 240 off of eBay. It looked like new and it worked without issue when shooting wide open indoors but as soon as I took it outside and stopped it down, there was dust and hair all over the image sensor. My heart sank since a Leica is not exactly a cheap purchase.I used the bulb method and cleaned most of the dust and hair out bit there were 7 pieces of stubborn dust on the sensor I couldn’t get off no matter how hard I tried. So, after some online research, I purchased this cleaning kit.I was a little intimidated at first because I was always under the impression that you should never place anything on your image sensor but armed with knowledge and carefully following the instructions provided, I dove in. After using this, I can say my sensor is completely clean and undamaged. The image sensor is actually more durable than I thought. The biggest thing is done press down too hard and don’t drag the cleaning tool across your sensor. As long as you do that, it’s a pretty painless process. I’m very happy with the purchase and my new to me Leica M is perfect.
