Didn't work well in my application on Ram seats, but I didn't really think it would due to the perforations in the seats. Looks gloomy. I guess it at least stopped the tear from getting worse.

I had high hopes for this especially since I only had a small 1/4” tear in my leather. Unfortunately, it looks terrible. I followed the directions exactly. The color wouldn’t cure with the heat plate and each time I redid it it looked worse and worse. I tried 6 different times and the color is still tacky. I gave up and am hoping it will cure on its own.The plus is the color chart was helpful and I was able to get the right color but super disappointed in the end result.

Great product ! My favorite couch started peeling after a few years. After much research, I found this to be just what I needed. The compounds, carefully color matched, and once heat cured, can deliver the same texture of the original leather/faux leather/vinyl. I found the color mixing chart that came with the package very useful. If you need some instructions, just google permatex on you tube and there are a couple of step by step videos on mixing the colors and heat treating the product, using the non-electric heat transfer tool. If you are in the UK, DON'T buy another version of this product that comes with an electric heating tool, it is not compatible.

Abject failure. The reason for the sofa repair was the vinyl section of the sofa had a brittle outer layer that was crumbling off showing the white fabric underneath. The glue went on fine. Then the mix it yourself color paste went on, the the problems started. Heated the tool and pressed on the area while rotating as directed. Pulled the texture swatch off and the paste stuck to it and pulled off more of the surface layer of the vinyl with it. Bad. I ended up getting some fake leather tape and it actually looks ok, but yikes.

Simple enough to use, but after heat fixing it leaves a white film over the repair, which makes it obvious on a dark background.

I was hesitant to buy as I've not had much luck with items such as this but the end result was AMAZING! I dhowed the repair to my husband and he asked where the tear had been! It was an L shaped tear about 2x2 inches in a Black leather motorcycle jacket. I definitely would buy again!

Very detailed, easy to follow instructions. There is even a colour mixing chart.I repaired an old snowmobile seat. The result far exceeded my expectations.

Put enough glue but the coloring less is best when you mix it and put it on use as little as possible if you need more do it again little as possible works good

Glued a crack together on my vinyl seat. Seems to be holding strong for about a month now. Kind of tricky to use the glue as it would be nice if it had a fine tip so the glue could be placed exactly where you want it. Instead you have to use the provided stick and it gets messy. Didn’t use any of the color but glue dried clearer than expected.

Turned up on time!Permatex filler and adhesives was like trying to apply snot. Almost impossible to get a good finish and not make a mess with the inadequate spatula they provide.Ended up removing the adhesive and starting again.
