I don't do too many reviews, but I think people who look at this product should be informed. This thing was so disappointing. Yes its small, 3 inches, but it's actually MUCH smaller. The amount of salt this thing holds is so small, I could barely fit 20 little crystals from a regular course himalayan pink salt refill. The inner liner is plastic AND it doesn't even correctly fit inside the wooden bore, leaving room for salt to get between the liner and the wood, which it did, being that this arrived either used or shipped with salt inside already. Additionally, the so-called wooden spoon that comes with it, is some flimsy metallic-painted aluminum thing, that would likely chip the paint with each scoop, right into your salt.

Wow I am so disappointed in this salt grinder. The mechanism hangs loosely when filling, which causes large crystals to jam up the grinder, falling out whole. It takes effort and acrobatics to finally adjust down the grind, and it loosens with every twist, requiring you to continually tighten the knob with each use. Such a bad design from a company with a much better reputation than this grinder’s quality reflects. Don’t buy.
