As mentioned by someone in another review, it seems Phillips has gone down in quality. Never had issues but this latest spindle pack has too many duds and have only used 5. What is more frustrating, is it appears it records a movie but when you go to finalize, you get recording error-Can not record on this disc. Three out of 5 trashed already.

White was okay but I suggest you go for the silver faced discs.

So far every disc has worked and I'm very happy I ordered these. I love the white printable labels that come on them. I actually only use markers to write on them, but I think it has a better look than the typical silver ones. Highly recommend these and I will definitely repurchase when I run out, especially for the price here on Amazon!

I had never purchased these discs before. I cannot comment on their printability quality because I did not attempt to use them in an inkjet printer. I bought them because the price was right. Once received, I found that they were very reliable in recording mode, and the playback quality was first rate. I strongly recommend them based on those two observations alone.

I got a new printer specifically to be able to print lables on DVDs & CDs for myself as well as other people. Wasn't sure what to expect from them. Wrote on a few before the printer came & thought they sucked. Then printed the first DVD label for one of my Mom's DVDs & LOVED it. It has a more professional look to it. They seem to dry faster than guidelines recommend (but I am in the desert so they may dry slower in more humid environment) and look lovely. The ink colors seem to exactly replicate what is on the computer. Light is light & dark is dark. I love the versatility of printing your own labels. I am now going to try pictures & other backgrounds different from the software ones & see how they do. But I expect they will be just as lovely as my first attempts.

Burned 2 discs and one failed, re-burned it with 3rd disc and was good. OK for the price, will see if more fails occur and update the rate. 3 stars.2013.02.12 Update: Use off all discs, not more failures, great product, inkjet printable, so change it to 5 stars, will buy again.

This media has proven to be very reliable and I would have given it 5 stars except for one thing: there is a Phillips logo around the Hub in the printable area. I bought Hub printable media to print on not to print over a logo. A minor irritation but a noticeable one.
