5 stars after 3 days. I will update if this changes.I bought several different brands & models, because our household includes several phone gamers. This was the least expensive of the models with the features & cooling type I sought, and so far it's my favorite for the intuitive (straightforward) operation. Even a luddite like me can figure out what "L1" "L2" etc. means when I press the button. No app required, cools my phone during several hours of play.I need a separate, wired power bank, but that's hardly a surprise. Standalone varieties with rechargeable batteries are too bulky for my hands & balanced carrying.Overall, solid choice for hours of outdoor gaming in the heat of the Nevada desert.

Definitely worth the pricing, uses a TEC to cool the phone. First look wasn't good but it does freeze water and it's worth it for cooling, definitely nice material. This is 100% worth it and cool in like 8 seconds bro

As someone who regularly uses an iPhone 12 pro for a vtuber model, I know first hand just how scarily hot your phone can get when it's under a heavy load. I got this fan to help alleviate some of the heat, and it works stupidly well. It's pretty simple to use, you just plug it into a USB port, and plug the other end into the USB type c power port it has and press the power button and it's good to go. Immediately it will turn on when you press the power button once and be at level one, a second press puts it to level two, and the third press put to AI which is basically something that auto regulates the temperature so it doesn't get too hot or too cold. This thing can absolutely get too cold because if you use it would that be an attached to a phone, it gets cold enough that the temperature reading on it shows it will hit zero Celsius, and condensation does start to build up on the metal pad.Thankfully, if you have it attached to your phone as it's being used for something that takes a lot of resources like gaming, it usually doesn't drop below three celsius from my personal experience and a phone that might normally feel quite warm and uncomfortable on the back, after a 10 to 12 hour session streaming using a V2 model which is intensive, it's cool to the touch. That's how I know this is working well. My phone will typically still lose battery power if it's plugged in without the heat sink on the back. If I put the heat sink on the back, it's actually able to charge up to full, even while under load.It does have some static RGB lighting, I wish you could turn it off but it is a nice way to know that it is turned on when you are actively using it but can't see the temperature gauge directly. You can still usually see the ambient light either reflecting off your hand or a nearby surface to know that it's still on.This clips on much like a phone holder would so it makes it compatible with any brand of mobile phone out there and it's able to slide left and right so you can adjust it to hit wider phones hotspots better. The long short of it is, if you're looking for what is probably the best heat sink I have used out of the three I've used, this is a really good choice and your phone will probably thank you if you are doing something long-term. My phone gets about 40 hours a week where it's on Non-Stop while I stream, and without something like this, my phone probably would have died long ago.

It probably won't fit a phone with a case unless it is very thin, but in all honesty, for it to work at its full potential it should be in direct contact with the back of the phone. It can be a bit tricky to try to clamp the fan on to my phone sometimes. It would have been better in this respect if it used MagSafe. There are three settings: low, high and automatic. I just leave it on the auto setting and it keeps my phone cool to the touch. Regardless of the setting the RBG light can't be changed nor can it be turned off. It produces a very faint hum when on. The fan blade openings are big enough to fit a finger tip but the fan blades are so thin and the RPMs so low that it doesn't hurt if a finger tip touches the blades.I don't do any hardcore gaming on my phone but I find the fan very helpful in my car when using it to cool down my phone when using CarPlay. There is a temperature monitor; but I probably don't understand how to read it properly, the numeric value it shows seems to be completely meaningless.

I was skeptical at first if this would actually work, it does! It gets ice cold and simple to use. The only con I’d say is that it has to be plugged in via USB-C; it would be nice if it was wireless; otherwise it works flawlessly.**Updated 5/7/25**Today I went to use it and it no longer works. I plug it in and click the button and it comes on and then shuts down and the screen turns black. Works great but has a very short lifespan before it stops working.

I like this phone cooler as it is easy to use and fits in my bag. It cools fairly fast and has two batteries so you can make sure you have one ready to go and switch them out. The batteries dont really last long enough for serious sessions, but they still help in the long run for the health of the battery and phone as well. It has a small screen so you can see what level and charge it is on. I wish the LEDs could be turned off though as they arent really needed since you know when its on by the fan, which isnt really loud.

Wow, this is a really nice cooler. It uses what is called TEC - Thermoelectric Cooler chip, also known as a Peltier module to cool down the phone. It literally is like a tiny refrigerator attached to the back of your phone... to below 0°C or "automatic", which is to 15°C. It can be power by electricity and no need to a "compressor" like a refrigerator does, but purely depend on a chip to do it.

I was shocked at how well this phone cooler works! It's not just a fan and heatsink. It has a semiconductor refrigeration feature that cools the plate that presses against the back of the phone. And that plate gets freezing cold when you turn it on! There are three settings, low high and one that is "AI" controlled. There is only a single button with a small LCD screen that shows you the mode you are in. The fan is super quiet, not discernable unless I hold my head right up against it. There is also a RGB light that shines through the fan. It's a cool effect, but unfortunately there is no way to turn it off that I could find. The phone cooler is very light weight. It is made of plastics except for the heatsink, which is metal. It does require a USB-C connection to a power adapter in order to run the cooler. This is probably it's biggest disadvantage in that it is not wireless with a rechargeable battery built-in. You will always be tethered when using the cooler. As the cooler uses a clamp to hold the phone, it should hold most phones out there, unless there is one that is extraordinarily large. It does stick out quite a bit though, maybe 1.25" or so from the back. If playing a game that you hold the phone at the two ends, it should not interfere. If you like holding your phone in the palms though, the cooler will be in the way. I found it wasn't the most comfortable to hold in this way, if at all.If the cooler didn't have the semiconductor refrigeration, and was just a plain fan blowing the back of the phone, it would only be maybe a 3-3.5 star product. It's a bit too plasticky. However, with that semiconductor magic that almost feels like it froze the back plate, this thing works amazingly well! Not everyone needs something like this, but if your phone overheats like mine, then the Sjiatu Phone Cooler is a must get item!
