My son loves playing with this piano. Be careful with the keys if your little one likes to "take them apart" because the material they are made of can break easily.

Bought the rainbow colored keyboard version for my 4 year old for Christmas. I ended up playing with it and even went so far as to download the app Simply piano and started teaching myself how to play! Showed it to my 93 yr old grandma with dementia and she loved it so much we bought a second one. It is almost always sitting out in front of her when we come to visit her at the nursing home. Battery has not needed to be replaced in the past 5 months. Light weight and easy enough to operate that my grandma can figure out how to turn it on and off and adjust the volume. Highly recommend! Great quality!

I think this company has some serious quality control issue. I really loved the concept and ordered it twice. the first time the sound quality was fabulous.... I would have kept the product but it was a gift and the charging cord could not be connected due to faultily manufactured port. Returned for a replacement... almost wish I had just kept the original but replacement arrived with very weird distorted sound. The replacement had a totally usable port but the sound quality emitted from the keyboard was so poor it was unacceptable. Really wanted to love this... contemplated returning for replacement, but as a christmas gift, I couldn't risk a third attempt. I think there is potential with the product if they get their act together... other reviewers have suggested a playbook/tutorial (great idea)... to make it more kid friendly, a battery safe option would be preferred as well. the battery compartment is not child safe, which in my case was not an issue but would definitely be a consideration for those with younger children and toddlers.

Seller: Primo Super-storeContents:Packaging BoxInstructionsUSB Charging CableUSB DC6V Charger49-Key Flexible Roll-Up Educational Electronic Digital Music Piano Keyboard (Blue)Got this for my tiny human to pound on and it has served it's purpose well.I would not use this for the serious piano enthusiast. Look, portability factors and the ability to play some simple music on it is great. However, you won't be playing any Rachmaninoff on it. There are 49 keys on this device which gives you a greater range of notes than some other products out there. I tested each key and they all work. I did notice that the device responds better when on a solid surface rather than the carpeted floor. However, even with the solid background surface in place I have noticed some inconsistencies in responsiveness. Sometimes keys will plunk multiple times, or not at all almost as if there is a short in the wiring. This was probably based on where I was touching the keys, because I did test every single key when it arrived and confirmed they all work. I was able to get a maximum of 5 keys to play at the same time (with some effort). The device seems to start to struggle if you try and hit 3 or more keys at the same time. A lot of times there is a delay in the notes playing so you might get 2 notes at the same time and then a split second later the 3rd will join. It's not impossible to do, but is definitely a limitation in the device. The keys are raised silicone style material and have a slight give when pressing them down. There are 8 different tones and only 2 of them sound similar. You can only use one tone at a time. There is a demo mode that can play 6 different songs. You cannot play along at the same time. Playing a demo song seems to turn off the keyboard. You can choose to put 3 AAA batteries in the device for mobility purposes. I can't say what the actual shelf life is on that, because I could not remember if I completely turned the device off one day and the next day the batteries were dead. That was about 3 days after I put batteries in. Another note regarding the battery feature....this has only happened once to me, but when I was rolling up the device (powered off) I received a small shock when I accidently touched either the "EX-SP" or "DC6V" Port. Needless to say, I am constantly monitoring when my little one is playing with this device. The additional USB DC6V plug adapter is handy when your batteries die and don't have any extra on-hand.

YES! It is in proper tune!!! I was actually surprised. THe power cord doesn't work, but who would use it anyway. Company offered to replace it right away, but I declined the offer when I thought about it and realized that would be a wasteful effort, as I can't see us ever using it in just one place and batteries work great so we kept it as is. Has more tones than needed, but at least it doesn't have all the silly (useless) whistles found on the $100 portable toys. We will use for vocal practice. (finding pitch etc.) and it even plays CHORDS! (some of these little cheapies will only make one note sound at a time). This old piano teacher is impressed

I purchased PicassoTiles PT49 Kid's 49-Key Flexible Roll-Up Piano for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. I don't know how to play piano and plan to learn along with her. The price is right! The keyboard is easy to play and she figured out the buttons on the control panel on her own. It rolls up very compact and is great for travel. The detachable plug is nice to have when I want to conserve the batteries, yet I like the safety of the batteries when she plays by herself. A couple of keys are a bit out of tune. She doesn't know the difference and, for the most part, it sounds very good. Certainly better than all the irritating electronic noise toys made for kids!!! I am glad I got it and my granddaughter loves it.

We bought the roll up keyboard as a portable piano for our 4 year old daughter to practice on a 3 week vacation. it was evaluated by my daughter's piano teacher. According to her, the tone of each key is slightly softer but the C is still a C. We really like the portable piano for play as well as lesson practices on the go.
