Tastefully designed and carefully manufactured, this is my favourite set of suspenders. The elastic is of just the right stiffness, and the clamps provide a reliable and tenacious hold. Connot attest to the durability at this point though, time will tell.

My first surprise was the clip used in these suspenders. As advertised, they were strong and the contact "teeth" were a tough nylon like material. What surprised me was their width and the mirrored block in frame design of the "teeth", very secure while gentle on the pants fabric. One of the clip latches has caught on the car seat and been unlatched a couple of times while sliding into the car but they have never slipped off of my pants while the clip was securely shut.The adjustment clips are equally impressive. The metal teeth hold the strap fabric like a locked jaw bulldog. I would be afraid of the teeth snagging a more delicate fabric but these straps are plenty tough with a metered stretch that is firm and comfortable. The adjustment clips also have a little lip in the center that makes them easier to open for adjustment.The straps are held together in the back by a triangular metal framework rather than being sewn with patch of leather or plastic. This is an advantage for me. I have had problems with sewn patches not being high enough on my back to avoid the straps constantly slipping off my shoulders. The frame allows me to adjust the crossing position and avoid that problem.I love the grey Scotts plaid pattern and subdued color. It goes with practically anything I wear and can look sophisticated or rugged depending. The strap width is 1 3/8”. I prefer 1 1/2” but these do not look too skinny maybe just a bit dressier than work but not weak.They are my favorites and my most worn for the past few months. I would definitely recommend them.

The pattern and suspender material is amazing. I love the silky, yet hearty texture of the fabric. Elegant appearing, but stands up to everyday lifestyle. The closures are sturdy with excellent grip, but the silicone protects my pants from damage better than clips with teeth. Really happy with this product. I will be purchasing more.
