These fan pulls are very cheaply made. The chain is actually plastic, not metal. I would not buy them again nor recommend them.

The pull chain is made of plastic-like beads on a string and it breaks the first time you pull it. Very poor quality.

Why would you attach a short (about 5 inches) plastic (YES, PLASTIC) chain???The chain was not mentioned in the item description. I just assumed (my fault) it was made of metal and at least a 12 inch chain like the other pulls I had been looking at.The antlers (I bought 2) look great.I just can't believe that it came with a plastic chain that will break!My husband is going to have to drill this "chain" out of the antler and we will have to purchase chain to replace the plastic one on each and, of course, make it longer.I guess they didn't mention the chain on purpose!
