Well…I finally had to use it after a month of carrying it for potential dog attacks. It did its job after 2 large dogs came after me and my dog. The sound of it alone was enough to keep them back for a bit but when one of them suddenly charged, he got zapped. He yelped and walked away. Very thankful to have this but it does lose charge quickly. The flashlight will power on even if there isn’t enough charge for the taser to work. Make sure it’s charged up every other day.

These are powerful and hurt when you get zapped. For the money you can’t beat this unit. Easy to charge as well.

The light is OK. the sound is loud enough. But where it really takes a turn is the switch quality. The switch is sticky and hard to control. I’ve had this flashlight for over a year now and it works well enough but I wish I would have just gotten a dedicated taser. The poor switch complicates the use and makes unreliable in a stressful situation. Also the lanyard loop broke a week in.

I haven't actually had to stun anyone yet but it makes an ugly noise for sure I like the size. The button is a little hard to move at first until you get used to it. The flashlight and strobe light work.

This works! Chased my 390 lb football player son around the house with it (the sound alone will scare you) and my husband accidently came in contact with the shock by the hem of his shirt and ended up on the floor. Perfect for anyone who goes anywhere alone. Easy to use.

I really like this flashlight, stun gun. I got this because I walk my dogs alone in the evening before I go to bed. I've started carrying it all the time in case I'm approached by mean, unleased dogs too. I really do feel safer carrying this. The flashlight has a good spot light for looking at the bushes and trees in the distance. It has has a flash feature that I use to signal cars to make sure they see me. The stun gun sure makes a zip sound. You have to actually touch it to the person or dog to shock them. I have not used it on anyone but I'm pretty certain it will pack a punch. I like the cord to wear it on my wrist so I don't drop it. It's easy to use. The button on the bottom has to be on for yo to be able zap somone/ something. (i.e another viscious dog) so it's unlikely that you would accidentally get yourself. I highly recommend this!

My only thing, after testing it out and thinking of situations is this....The double switch seems like a plausible thing to do as a safety precaution to yourself and others you do not want to harm. But I feel like, if I was in a situation that I had to use it, it would take more time to think about and flip both switches before it was active. Not really sure it that's helpful for you or not.That being said, I do feel more comfortable walking around with this. It is a little larger than I anticipated it to be. I would give it five stars, but the first one I received was broken. It was easily and quickly replaced after contacting the company.Stay safe.
