Just nice to know what moisture the board sits at. (within range) Its smart to let your wood acclimate to your shop before working it anyway. So retesting is gunna happen. Nice to know you are not buying green 15% moisture wood to start though.

Comperato per trovare una perdita dal terrazzo al garage anche se non precisissimo (difficile con un soffitto box da 60 cm) comunque mi ha aiutato a ridurre la zona di ricerca, l'acqua non sai mai da dove arriva....utilizzato prima di acquisto camper mi ha permesso di evitare la fregatura, era infiltrato...TOP

This meter gives you fairly accurate humidity percentages when compared to moisture meters that are way more expensive. I used it to check drywall humidity in a flood reclamation project in my home so I knew when I could close up walls. Very handy and price was right.

I needed the meter, unfortunately, after a water leak. I tested the area I thought was affected to get an idea of how bad it was. The findings were confirmed by the restoration company.
