The Smart Pitcher is designed to ensure you achieve the optimum milk temperature every time. It removes the need for a thermometer or over steaming with ‘hand-feel’.
-HOW DOES IT WORK?-
Smart Pitcher has a built-in thermometer, Thermo-Indicator, on the side of the jug that indicates the temperature with a colour coded system. The Thermo-Indicator is extremely durable for long-term use.
-HOW TO USE-
1. Pour the milk into Smart Pitcher.
2. Place Smart Pitcher on steam nozzle.
3. Stop steaming when the Thermo-Indicater reaches the colour of the temperature you want.
4. The colour of Thermo-Indicator will go back to the original colour after washing the jug.

35℃/ 95℉ Color Change : It is time to stop introducing air for perfect velvet milk
60℃/ 140℉ Color Change : Optimal temperature for sweetness and deliciousness.
65℃/ 149℉ Color Change : Optimal temperature for sweetness and deliciousness.
70℃/ 158℉ Color Change : You take the risk of scalding the milk and losing all the delicious flavor that you have created

● Smart Pitcher thermo chromic decal (thermo-indicator) consists of micro indicating capsules.
● These capsules can be damaged if exposed to ultraviolet rays, high pressure, microwaves, and high temperature (greater than 70°C).
● Dishwasher safe.
● When used as directed Smart Pitcher thermo-indicator will last over a year.

Best purchase I have made related to our expresso machine. I am now able to do other tasks while the milk steams where before I had to stand and monitor the temp. Cut down on about 3 minutes to the total process time

We swear by this to heat up and froth milk when we treat ourselves to homemade espresso drinks ok weekends. This is big enough to froth enough milk for two large lattes (with a little extra too). The color indicator helps us to know when it’s hot enough to serve. While it’s disheasher safe we wash by hand so that the indicator doesn’t wear out. We also add hot water in and discard before adding milk so it heats up faster. I highly recommend this for the home barista!

I purchased several of these, two different sizes, and some of the temperature gauges have gone bad within 6-7 months of use. Not sure why some did and some didn't perhaps they are poorly made, hard to say. keep that in mind when you buy them.

Good size and shape for heating milk. I use it multiple times every day and the temperature reading on the side helps a lot when working out how hot the milk needs to be. Before now I was not heating my milk enough.

The product worked well for temperature indicator, but it is not stainless steel as the cup developed Rus after one use.

Wow. Great solution for our coffee shop. We bought 8! We've only had them for days (revised below), but all of my employee's are praising them. I don't have to worry about our drinks going out at the wrong temp if an employee "forgets" to use the thermometer. One little extra benefit is that; if you're not watching over a thermometer, you have a little extra time to grab a cup, put milk away, or grab a flavor. I'm not sure how long they'll last, we have to use bleach on them(we rinse them off after) bleach alternatives will not work for us, but I think we'll get a decent life out of them. Very thankful for this product. (revised) We've had them for 4 months now and they're still revolutionary for our company. They've held up to washing and sanitizing great. Still extremely thankful.

Works great but it doesn't go hot enough for how I like my coffee. I wish it went to 180F so I could know exactly when the milk gets there. Riight now I just guess after 170F. Otherwise it works well.
